Bloomin' Beautiful

I am a new Stampin' Up Demonstrator.   These two cards were created using a new set of stamps I just received.  It's called Bloomin' Beautiful.  The first card was stamped with one flower, colored with Prisma markers and then clear embosed.  I stamped the second flower, the embossed image resisted the ink from the second impression.  I repeated for the 3rd flower. I did them one a time, to be able to have the purple flower sit in front.

The second card I stamped the image and embossed.  I sponged the background first blocking off the top half of the image to make a table, then blocking off the table and sponging the top.

Bird In Tree

Today's card is a brayer technique that I learned from my Stampin' Up - upline Michelle Zindorf.  She is the ultimate in using a brayer.  This actually turned out, at least to me, with a very Asian feel.

Card For Sharon

I made this card for my Nephew's Wife Sharon for her 30th Birthday, which happens to be today. Happy Birthday Sharon. Sharon is a real girly girl and I thought this card really fit her style.

I used something new (at least to me) to do the background of the card. They are called "Masks", and this one is one designed by Tim Holtz. They are pretty cool. They are the opposite of a stencil. You lay it down on the suface and use either ink or chalks to rub around them. I think it had a nice effect.
